PlayDay is a parent cooperative, enriched early childhood education program

The goal of the program is to provide caregivers a “day off” while knowing their child(ren) are in a safe, fun, creative and active play environment. The program is designed to reduce separation anxiety, while developing important social, gross motor, and fine motor skills. It is a learn-through play program with enriched components to get your little one ready for Kindergarten. For more information regarding our educational philosophy click here >>.

Play dough, painting, sand table, colouring, crafts, ABC’s and 123’s, stories, puzzles, toys, singing, blocks, ball time and big toy time (tricycles, cars). There is one snack and a lunch, in which food is provided by the parents.

Low ratios
There are a total of 15 registered children attending each day along with 2 paid teachers and one volunteer helper parent. This ratio is well below the legal requirement. We feel keeping the ratio low is important to provide the quality care your children deserve. This also allows you to bring your other children with you, on the day that you are helper parent.
